Heapey Lodge 6 – (Number 6) Chorley

Coppice Lane, White Coppice, Chorley, Lancashire PR6 9DE

Heapey Lodge 6 Fishing Lake
Heapey Lodge 6 Fishing Lake

Heapey Lodge No 6 is separate from the other Heapey Reservoirs, being a little drive away in the beautiful White Coppice and close to White Coppice Cricket Club (whitecoppicecc.co.uk)

Fishing is only possible from one bank – the dam wall there are some other pegs but i wouldn’t recommend trying to get to them

If anyone fishes here on a regular basis I would be delighted to hear from you via – admin@fishinginlancashire.co.uk, tips, methods, what sort of fishing catch can be expected. I will be fishing it soon and will post up my catch and finding.

Parking can be a busy at weekends and public holidays as the area is popular with walkers.

Species: Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Perch, a few Pike, Chub, Tench, but not many of the latter two. I don’t think there are any Carp in Heapey Lodge Number Six.

Nice place for an evening waggler fishing in the summer or feeder/ tip fishing for a longer session. Interesting smaller reservoir fishing, much smaller than its sister reservoirs Heapey 1, 2 & 3, and a very picturesque place.
