Great little fishery with something for everyone, wether it it is hunting down the big carp, catching silver fish every chuck to getting plenty of runs from the “smaller” carp Redwell has got it all. Like many fisheries its best in the summer, i’ve always struggled here during the winter, probably because this part of Lancashire can be cold and its not a deep set of lakes. The lakes are all interconnected and packed with features to fish to all within an easy cast or swing of the rod, from reeds to overhanging trees and islands.

There are small secluded fishing swims as well and wider open water to fish to.
Plenty of double figure carp and some pushing 30lb. Roach, rudd, tench and bream can keep you busy at Redwell Fishery.

Night fishing is available to season ticket holders (members) only
Cray fish used to be a problem giving constant false bites, they may have been removed these days? if anyone wished to correct me or send more details, tips and catch reports please email admin@fishinginlancashire.co.uk.

On site there is a camp site offering the chance to stop over to, in tent or touring caravan, there are also some pitches let to permanent caravans and plans for lodges.

Boilies are banned, so you may need to be inventive to catch the carp!
