Young or Old…

Ive been fishing since the age of about 8. Starting off catching perch on the then iron coloured Bridgewater canal. Ive worked my way though most corners of our sport from general course fishing to dabbling in a little match fishing. From winter pike fishing and moving on to specimen carp fishing (like so many) mixed with occasional sea fishing adventures.

Eventually going back to course fishing again. So some of our pages will form a journal about our fishing trips in Lancashire (and occasionally further afield) plus details of the many Fishing waters.

…bear with us Fishing in Lancashire is a work in progress, once up and running a new design will follow !

Lancashire abounds with superb Fishing Venues :

Whether you are looking to visit a Commercial Fishery with their almost “guaranteed to catch” style Fishing waters. Or prefer to Fish a “natural” Fishing Lake or River. – Our new web site Fishing in Lancashire details many of these great venues throughout Lancashire. Many more will be added over the coming months.

Most days we will add a new venue and build on the site. By adding photos, video when we can, a map to help you find your way and details of the fishery or venue. These will including prices, fishing rules and a description. For example this is a recent entry for a local venue in Leyland, Lancashire. Showing the basics plus a short video and photographs. We will add to this over the coming days and weeks https://fishinginlancashire.co.uk/malt-kiln-conservations-trust-and-fishery/

Angling Updates to follow…

Fishing in Lancashire will be constantly updating the list of Fishing Venues. Adding not only new locations throughout Lancashire, but reviews of each fishery when available. Together to our own catch reports (or not as the case may be!). Additionally helpful tips we might pick up along the way on our own Fishing Adventures and from the many friendly Fishermen we meet.
