The Fishery
Mixed fishery providing course fishing and fly fishing. Described as “Fishing in and area of outstanding Natural Beauty”. The fishery overlooks Burnley, Lancashire. The Rising Fishery offers fishing over 3 ponds
A good mixed variety of fish species. This includes Carp, Chubb, Barbell, Specimen Roach and Perch, Golden Orfe, Tench, Crucian, Ide, and Bream.
The Hallows is a purpose built Fly Fishing water
Cafe: Providing anglers with hot and cold food. Also tea or coffee, snacks, and a selection of cakes, confectionary and ice cream. The cafe is set in a log cabin with wood burning stove.

Fishing Prices
The Hallows Lake £3.00 per hour.
The Allows for 1 Fish (first fish must be taken, minimum ticket 2 hours). Additional fish my be purchased at £2.50 per pound.
The Brookstick Lake (Coarse Only)
£7.00 per day, £6.00 per day for concessions
THE Cauldron Lake (Coarse Only)
£7.00 per day, £6.00 per day for concessions
Fishing Rules The Rising Fishery Burnley
- No Keepnets. (except in matches)
- All fish to be returned. (strictly catch and release)
- Ground baiting allowed only through a feeder or pole pot.
- All hooks must be barbless and no bigger than size 10.
- Fishing is only permitted from pegs.
- No Meat, trout pellets or Boilies
- All fish must be landed and returned using a landing net, regardless of size.
- Each angler is responsible for any litter found on or around the peg they are fishing from.
- Dogs are welcome when accompanied by a responsible owner.
- All nets and unhooking mats must be dipped and left to dry before commencing fishing.
- Alcohol is not allowed on the fishery.
- Any disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
